Sorry I haven’t written much lately. Like many of you, my life has changed, and that change means I have to shut this down for awhile. Make no mistake, the change is for the better. I’m embarking on a new work situation that’s different from what I’ve done the past 30 odd years. I know from the start it’s going to take up a lot of my time, time I would normally spend comunicating with you. There are some truly thoughtful and wonderful folks I’ve met online by writing this little daily take on politics and the like.
Rest assured I’ve enjoyed each and every comment, and each and every view has been an honor. I can’t say I’ll never do it again, because I learned a long time ago never to say never. But for now, I have to say ”hail and farewell, and in the words of Lou Grant from “The Mary Tyler Moore Show”,
“I cherish you people.”

I haven’t been commenting on your blog, Mark, but I’ve been following you since day one of Morning Sedition. Best wishes to you in all of your endeavors, and I look forward to enjoying your commentary again in the future.
Very sorry we’ll lose you in the blogosphere, but hopefully you’ll keep us informed as to what you’ll be doing.
I’ve missed hearing you since your AAR days and wasn’t able to catch your recent Saturday shows.
Congratulations on your new opportunity and come back to us when you can.
Hey Mark. Congratulations again on the new journey you are taking. Change is what life seems to be all about these days, and you gotta roll with it or be left behind. Obviously you are moving right along with it, and I’m sure you’ll be back on the blog scene before long. Take care.
Boo Hoo. I am sure you will return. You are wise to know what to do and when to do it.
Mark, Transitions are always bitter/sweet but neccessary for growth. Just remember wherever your journey leads there are two old folks in northern NJ who love you and wish you the best. You and your family are so much in our prayers. Blessings always.
Hi Mark,
I’d like to add my voice to the chorus of people who will miss your blog – and you just got here!
I hope this doesn’t mean that Working New York is going anywhere; I’ve been listening, digging it and spreading the word.

Hi Mark,
I don’t know how often you check this anymore, but I’ve been listening to Working New York and bugging WWRL about a podcast (no response from anyone there as of yet).
I actually used to live right down the street from the Goose Island Shrimp House; they’ve got great fries.
